Because there were relatively few people injured, the marathon brings outsiders into town, and Boston is a decently large city, I've not been finding myself worried about friends.

What's really weighing heavily on my mind, and has me a bit scared, is how this is going to affect domestic security policy (and depending on who is assigned blame, possibly foreign policy.) :-(
