I live a lot of my life in the long-distance, which is a lot of fun, and means I get a lot done over IM, which is good for me, and makes scheduling things pretty easy sometimes.

But then comes a night like tonight, when I realize that what I need most is to arrive on someone's doorstep sobbing and have them take care of me.

And there's no one who qualifies right now.

I know that probably doesn't help, and I know that my doorstep isn't the one you want... but it's there, anyway.

Hugs from afar, for 6 hours is too far to drive for a hug in person.

I was thinking about that recently (reading between the lines + similar thoughts myself). The thought occurred "how fast could I get to where

kdsorceress is? My best guess is 4-5 hours, depending on the time of day.
