Sep. 27th, 2013 04:29 pmSo, I happen to be passing by the front steps when I hear the mail fall through the slot, and go thundering down the stairs to get it. As I do, I start singing to myself:
"Here's the mail
It never fails
It makes me wanna wag my tail
When it comes I wanna wail
MAAAAAIIIIIL!"
The moment I finish, I hear peals of laughter from both Nessie and Jordan upstairs in the living room. I live with people who appreciate it when I sing songs from childrens cartoons from the late 90s. Fuck yeah.

We are totally hosting a Housewarming Party on October 4th, which is a Friday. You should all come. The address is all up ins the Facebook (I have not invited people via Facebook, I should do that) or in various locked posts I make and link from my profile but am too lazy to link here.

I am going to Youth Dance Weekend this weekend, and will be mostly not on the internets I expect, since they say there is little cell service (and presumably even less wifi). Things I find fascinating related to this:
1) Possibly due to the fact that I am currently dancing four times a week, and having meetings for two different committees about dance, I am packing WAY more board games than dancey skirts. That's...cool, I suppose. I hope I get to play some of them! Also, damn I need more tabletop gaming in my life, NOTE TO SELF START HOSTING A TABLETOP NIGHT OR PROBABLY MORE LIKELY A TABLETOP AFTERNOONS WOULD ANYONE COME TO THAT C'MON I HAVE LOTS OF UNDEREMPLOYED FRIENDS LIKE ME RIGHT?
I don't know what that required allcaps. Sometimes I get started with shouting and then forget to stop.
2) I post here like, once a week at best, and am honestly pretty minimal about my other non-chat internet presence, but somehow, knowing I am going to be offline for like 48 hours, I feel I must come warn livejournal. Helpful hint to all the people not reading this: This will pretty much always be my automatic first point of contact for all most relevant news.

Cookie clicker is a strange, addictive, and dangerous sort of web-game. I am not linking to it, because you should really think hard before you start doing it, and having to search it out yourself will give you that time to think. Also my CPS is well over 1.8 million, so booyah or whatever.
