Dance went pretty damn well, despite being held indoors --note: Cement floor is *so* not fun to dance on barefoot. Someone slap me upside the head for that one.

Thank you thank you THANK YOU leiacat for being all teachery and helpful. I was a little worried about how my non-dancer friends were going to deal, and you really seriously helped. Millions upon millions of hugs to you, my fair lady.

"See You Again" by Miley Cyrus is most totes a one-step, though you can throw a bit of polka in. Yes, I got scorned for Miley Cyrus. Luckily, at least one person Just Didn't Care.

I think I danced at least once with everyone who was dancing. I may have only half-danced with Zoe or something. Such is life.

"Nice Weather For Ducks" by Lemon Jelly is a *surprisingly* good one-step. I was playing it during a bit of downtime to show people the trippy video.

I showed Middleman to people! Yay!!

I'm getting better at telling what music is what dance. I was completely correct in my thought that "Mandy Goes to Med School" is a swing, which is all that's important. For what it's worth, it's an *awesome* swing.

Also, "Only Anarchists Are Pretty" is a foxtrot? Whatthefuck? That was rad though.

Man, my kitty is adorable. She is currently playing with a piece of cardboard or something. Awww!

I got new books!

Iiiii think I shall probably return Larry's speaker not today. As it is late.

Last Waltz was "Between" by Vienna Teng --I crossstepped it with Liana, with me leading for some strange and scary reason. Failure did not occur very much. Last dance was "Around the World" by ATC. I one-stepped, swung, and polka'd my way through it (AS YOU SHOULD) with SCDAlex.

And yes. That went shockingly well. Time for me to finish this slice of delicious cake, and crawl into bed. Faire tomorrow, probably early. YAY!

OH! OH I KNOW WHAT I FORGOT! I got several lovely and splendid gifts, and what amounts to more than half the print run of Narbonic (muahaha!) and most importantly, Spam got me a VIAL OF AQUATIC BANISHMENT!

I recognize that about three people are going to get what the hell is meant by that, but seriously! VIAL OF AQUATIC BANISHMENT! I need never worry about Terra-Cotta warriors from the Xian dynasty again!
