Things I did not accomplish today:

Working on packing, since, you know, I'm leaving in like five days. Less, really.

Things I did accomplish today:

Reading the entirety of the stand alone french revolution and goofy vampires comic Bite Me!

Reading the archives of the silly mockery-of-yaoi-manga and interesting study in gender and sexuality Girls Only!

Reading the archives of the autobioraphical comic Shrub Monkeys

And finally getting my act together and reading Shaenon Garrity's pseudo-prequal to Narbonic1, Li'l Mell

Oh, and sleeping until two thirty.

...

Today has kindof completely rocked.

MOOP!

1: Narbonic is one of my favourite comics that has ever been written by anyone *ever*. It is fantastically good, full of mad science, and pretty lovely art, and is WAY worth reading. Plus, it's ended, so theoretically once you've read it all, you don't have to keep up with it.

...the complete series of books is going to be my birthday present to myself, once I've gotten around to ordering them.

Not yet --it's sitting open in a tab, waiting for me.

Is it done, like Bite Me! or still ongoing?

It's still going -- in fact, it's still very near the beginning. It's also more serious than Bite Me!, fair warning.

I'm okay with that, I like serious comics too.

I know, I just didn't want you to go into it expecting more Bite Me.

I just read through Girls Only! as it sounded kind of entertaining from your description... And my professional opinion would have to be that it's moving too slowly.

It was a good way to kill half an hour, though. Thanks!

Eh, I can't really judge slow-moving until I've been reading the comic for a time --just the way I am I supposed. And as comic flows go, it's often one I'm willing to forgive. Order of the Stick is the best example of this.

Yeah... But OotS was really funny.
All this elicited from me was a smirk here and there.

Oh, totally understood. Like I said, Order of the Stick is the *best* example of slow moving comics that I'm willing to put up with.
