So.

Updates:

*I have now seen the first six episodes of the newest Doctor Who. "Oh, fifty-seven academics just punched the air." --comedy GOLD! ((And by 57 academics, he of COURSE means several hundred slashing fangirls))

*Arm is feeling MUCH better. I had dad look at it, and he says it's only bruised. :)

*Going to a big old feast at the Old Mill where I wind up with plates full of the most delicious stuff imaginable (Neva spice cake! Apple-mango tarts! Mmmmm!!) and then waking up and realizing it was all a dream...sucks. Big time.

*I've got a trustpost brewing about mental intimacy and trust and my total lack of it. This may or may not ever come to fruition, but I think it wants to.

*I also need to make a post about body image and fud and some combination of that, inspired by recent posts by [livejournal.com profile] ancientsong and [livejournal.com profile] kittiekattie

*Orientation for becoming a target-bitch today. Yay me. :P

*I need to pack for college orientation, which is Monday and Tuesday of next week. Guess what time I have to wake up in order to be in Boston by whatever time orientation starts! I'll give you a hint --it's something like four in the fucking morning. Rar.

*I need to clean my nest. And my room. Eh, motivation. Whatever.

*I am now going to go read my friends list, and then play guitar hero. Ta!

Indeed. Good moment.

Arm is feeling MUCH better. I had dad look at it, and he says it's only bruised. :)

Good!

. . . mental intimacy and trust and my total lack of it.

There's something slightly inherently weird about saying this, but I call B.S. here. Maybe I should just wait for the post, but I get the distinct impression that you're more trusting than you think you are.

Maybe, but you are one of the people I tend to really trust, for some reason. So you probably have a slightly more candid view of me then most people.

Or something.

That's sort of my point, though. "Total lack of it" is too strong of a statement.

as the doctor would (and has) said:
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry"
retail sucks, but everyone should do it at some point in their life just to realize how much it sucks.

Oh, you think Doctor Who's good now...

By my reckoning you're up to The Lazarus Experiment. Which is OK. As soon as you can, grab the next five, because you get:
  • 42 - suckage (and nothing to do with Douglas Adams)
  • Human Nature/Family of Blood - awesome
  • Blink - OMG AWESOME. Seriously, I suggest getting the right atomsphere for this. Don't watch this when you might be interrupted. And turn off the lights before you watch it. It's Doctor Who does horror REALLY WELL, and it's easily the best ep of the season so far. Plus the Doctor gets great lines: "It's my timey-wimey detector. It goes bing when there's stuff."
  • Utopia - Not only do we get awesome in the form of Derek Jacobi, we get Captain Jack again! Hitting on everything he can see!

Soyeah. That's why you should get them eh ess eh pee.

*runs through rest of list*

Uuuum, you know I'm here to email and you know what I think about your body ;)(unless you're talking about other people here) and YAY JOB! and YAY ORIENTATION!

Ohright, and stuff cleaning - when I come over I'm seriously thinking of devoting two days to helping you clean out your room. Thing is, you must spend three or four days a month cleaning it. If you really did it properly the first time, it would take you maybe an hour every month to keep it tidy. Of course, knowing you, you're packratting way worse than me. So if I did this, I'd start picking stuff up and going "What is this? Do you need it? What for? You don't need it. No, seriously, you don't."

So, um, maybe it's best I don't clean out your room....

i didn't think it was THAT bad. it seemed more light-hearted then some of the other recent episodes

Human Nature/Family of Blood - awesome
agreed

y'know, i wish someone had told me that when i watched it. i saw it in miniature in the upper corner of my computer screen. even then, it was highly highly awesome.

Utopia - Not only do we get awesome in the form of Derek Jacobi, we get Captain Jack again! Hitting on everything he can see!
and its even better because [censored].
and, of course, Captain Jack hitting on anything with a pulse....or is that just how the doctor sees it?
